And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
Each summer, we host children from within our church, the neighborhood, and surrounding communities to learn more about God and His promises to us. Our church offers a five evening Vacation Bible School program. Children are welcomed with an opening ceremony that includes songs, skits, and hints of what to expect for the rest of the evening. From there, children move on to age-appropriate games, Bible stories, crafts and snacks. At the end of each night, the closing ceremony reviews the Bible lesson, emphasizes the Bible point with songs, and gives reminders for the next day. On the fifth night, parents are welcome to the final closing ceremony, where the children will review all that they have learned from the week.
We are happy to accept children from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade for the VBS Program. Youth 7th grade and higher will be in a Bible study during the VBS time.
YOUNG AT HEART (YAH)
Young at Heart is a monthly luncheon that typically takes place at noontime on the third Thursday of the month. It is an opportunity for retired members of the church and community to get out and fellowship together. The main dish and dessert are provided and vary with the seasons and holidays; some of the folks who come bring an appropriate side dish, but that is not required. After the meal, we have a brainteaser quiz, then a short devotional is shared.
For more information about attending Young at Heart, please contact Pastor Nick.
